The ePower-Lite Mini X expands Amphenol Industrial Operations’ ePower-Lite Series with a compact high-voltage connector designed for increasingly space-constrained electrification applications. Built upon the proven ePower-Lite platform, the new two-position connector supports reliable power transmission while maintaining the rugged performance, environmental protection, and design flexibility engineers expect from Amphenol Industrial Operations.

Supporting up to 1000 VDC and 35A with 4 mm² wire, the ePower-Lite Mini X gives OEMs another option for electric vehicles, hybrid electric vehicles, fuel cell vehicles, heavy equipment, factory automation, and industrial electrification systems. Optional High Voltage Interlock Loop (HVIL) and EMI configurations, multiple keying options, secondary locking, and touch-safe protection help address critical safety, packaging, and performance requirements.

Expanding the ePower-Lite Platform

The ePower-Lite Series is a family of lightweight, high-voltage connectors developed for electric vehicles, hybrid electric vehicles, fuel cell vehicles, heavy equipment, and other electrification applications. The product family offers multiple contact sizes and current capabilities, allowing engineers to select a connector that matches available space, cable size, voltage, and power requirements.

New ePower-Lite Mini X Configuration

The ePower-Lite Mini X features 2.8 mm power contacts and supports 2.5 mm² and 4 mm² wire sizes. The connector is rated for 25A with 2.5 mm² wire and up to 35A with 4 mm² wire, with an operating voltage of up to 1000 VDC.

Multiple keyway options help prevent incorrect mating when several high-voltage connectors are installed within the same system. Cable-terminal and pin-terminal receptacle configurations provide additional flexibility for different equipment layouts and termination requirements. Optional HVIL and EMI combinations allow engineers to select the configuration that best supports their system-level safety and shielding needs.

IP67 and IP6K9K sealing in the mated condition helps protect the connection against dust, water ingress, and high-pressure spray encountered in vehicle, heavy equipment, and industrial environments.

IP2XB touch-safe protection supports safer handling in properly designed high-voltage systems, while optional HVIL can help provide system monitoring of the connector interface. Optional EMI shielding supports applications where electromagnetic compatibility is an important design consideration.
