Description
Amphenol’s Tru-Loc® Splitter is an innovative solution designed to receive power and signal from a single cable and efficiently distribute it into two separate sets of power and signal outputs. This not only saves money and space but also enhances functionality.
Constructed from durable thermoplastic material, the Tru-Loc Splitter can operate in environments with temperatures as high as 150°C, making it an excellent choice for Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) across a variety of markets. These markets include industrial automation, process control, power generation, diesel, LNG & gas engines, automotive sensing, electronic gear shifting in cycling, and the industrial internet.
The splitters are particularly useful in CANbus Networks, accommodating CAN-high, CAN-low, ground or shielded, I/O power, and low amperage power distribution, as well as sensor harnessing. A key feature is their 120 Ohm +/-10% controlled impedance between two sets of contact pairs, making them ideal for networks with multiple sensor sets. The inclusion of Amphenol’s RADSOK socket contacts further enhances their efficiency.
With a current capability of up to 13 A per contact and a dielectric withstanding of 1,600 VAC rms, the Tru-Loc splitters are both powerful and reliable. They have an extensive operating temperature range of -40°C to 150°C and are equipped with six terminals for signal splitting, making them versatile for a wide range of applications.
