Amphenol Industrial Operations presents a versatile solution that seamlessly integrates power and signal terminals within a compact and robust connector package. These connectors are exceptionally well-suited for devices, motors, and systems where space optimization is critical.
The Amphe-RXS stands out with the incorporation of Amphenol’s patented RADSOK technology, which delivers superior amperage capacity, reduced temperature rise (T-rise), lower electrical resistance, and minimized mating forces. RADSOK’s remarkable ability to allow approximately 50% more amperage through the same size pin results in a remarkably compact design for the Amphe-RXS connectors. These power terminals are available in a range of sizes, from 2.4 mm to 5.7 mm, providing continuous amperage up to 120 A.
For signal terminals, users have the option of choosing standard terminals or those designed for high-vibration environments using AHVB contacts (refer to the Data Sheet). Signal terminal sizes are available from size 22 to size 16. The all-in-one connection system offers diverse locking solutions, from plastic lock tabs to small screws. Bulky and unreliable lever locks or jack screws are unnecessary due to the reduced mating forces of our systems.
The cost-effective Amphe-RXS connectors offer a plethora of customizable options to cater to individual user requirements. These options encompass various sealing methods, including crimp, solder, or PCB mountings, as well as shielding or blind mating. Additionally, the connectors can be overmolded with leads to provide a value-added solution.
